The Loughborough College support team are seeking Learning Support Assistants, to join them in providing a range of support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

We are looking for people to be involved in supporting learners across a range of courses from Entry level to Degree level who have learning difficulties and disabilities including Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Hearing & Visual/Physical Impairments. The successful candidates will provide in-class support to groups of learners, which includes note-taking, assisting with personal care and mobility support.  

It is essential that applicants have experience of working with students with a disability and have a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to undertake further training where identified, particularly in areas such as Makaton and manual handling.

There are several contracts available, which offer flexibility with working hours. Candidates preferred options will be discussed at interview. All contracts are term time only and hours are worked over 33 weeks per year.
