Industry Coach Lead

Leeds City College is one of the UK’s largest FE establishments with around 1400 employees and over 17,400 students. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of "industry coaches" to help prepare our students for work experience placements, and equip them with the skills, attitudes and tenacity they will need to succeed in the workplace. This will include leading the development and delivery of workshop activities and resources, and liaising with curriculum departments to establish a programme of timetabled delivery. The post holder will be responsible for the line management of the industry coach team, allocating workloads, and producing reports for departmental and wider college purposes. The post holder needs to have an engaging and innovative approach to workshop development and delivery, a strong understanding of the skills students need in order to succeed on work experience placements, and excellent leadership skills.
