This is a fantastic job opportunity for you to join our University of Surrey International Study Centre, teaching Law on our Level 3 programme. Working 2 days a week (flexible on days) you'll work with small groups of international students (12-18 max), teaching our Law modules through engaging and innovative lessons.
Working alongside one other Law Tutor, you'll have the challenge of taking the lead on a number of Law modules, including some material development. There is ample support for you once you have joined. You'll be given a full induction, assigned a mentor in the team which will involve weekly meets, be given pier observations, and have weekly team meetings with the BLSS team.

You'll deliver modules on our Law International foundation year programmes to small groups of international students. Working with 1-2 cohorts, you will play a key role by developing schemes of work, writing coursework, and exam papers. You'll have contact with external stakeholders including link Tutors at the University. Your aim quite simply will be to empower students to reach the level they need to progress into University by giving student centred, engaging, and innovative lessons.
- Your background will be in teaching Law in a Further Education or Higher Education context, teaching at a minimum of Level 3. Commercial experience would also be a plus.
- A degree in Law or a relevant subject. (essential)
- A PGCE or a similar teaching qualification is desirable.
