About the role:
To support the Head of Quality & Administration in an administrative capacity covering a variety of administration related duties. Duties will involve enrolling and processing new learners on to the college system to basic data processing onto spreadsheets, answering telephone and email queries, processing student certificates and chasing relevant staff members for outstanding audit documentation on behalf of the Apprenticeships Administration Team.
The role will report to the Administration Team Leader and on occasion may involve providing cover for other members of the Administration Team in answering telephone calls, processing enrolment forms, document archiving, data input on spreadsheets and online databases and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as and when requested.
About you:
With a high standard of analytical skills in data processing, you will be a dedicated problem solver capable of taking the lead on any task given to you with minimal supervision. You will have relevant experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background office administration, plus experience in analysing varied types of data, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and a commitment to processing data with the highest accuracy. You will ideally have experience of working within higher education within the setting of processing new student enrolments for apprenticeships - however this is desirable. You must have the ability to communicate confidently with other members of the administration team, other teams within the college and occasionally students with varied types of enquiries.
