About the role:
We are looking for an outstanding teacher with high expectations of students to teach mainly A-level English Literature and Literature and Language in the English and Media Department at City and Islington Sixth Form College. You will work with a team of 16 staff and the Department offers A-level English Literature and Language, English Literature, Media Studies, Film Studies, AS Film Studies and GCSE English. These subjects are popular choices for students at the Sixth Form and the department has a long record of success.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with high expectations of students. You will have successful experience of teaching A-level English Language and Literature and be enthusiastic, innovative and care about students.
About us:
City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre, with 1600 students on roll. We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. All teachers are tutors to a pastoral group of up to 22 A-level students and we have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students' confidence and skills.
