Due to the rapid expansion of our Modern Apprenticeship programmes, we are seeking a number of Assessors/Trainers in Construction.

Inverness College UHI is a partner of the University of the Highlands & Islands, the largest provider of Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for people with industry experience to train as Assessors and put their knowledge to use in assessing (and training where required) Modern Apprentices.

We are happy to take applications from people who are already assessors or to train people from Construction trades to assess.

Assessment and Training is mostly carried out at the Modern Apprentice Employer’s workplace, so good communication skills and customer service are essential, as is a current driving license.

A range full time and part-time hours are available.  As these roles need to be flexible and respond to employer needs, these roles are not restricted to traditional term times.

We offer a generous holiday entitlement (44 days of which 15 of which are fixed) and pension package, details of which are provided on the job description.

For further information or an informal discussion about the role, please contact Georgina Parker on 01463 273651.

Closing date: 24th May 2019

Interview date:  29th May onwards

Please note post holder will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
