Lecturer in Physics

An exciting appointment has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and A Level Physics. The ideal candidate should possess a suitable Physics degree, have successful experience of teaching A Level Physics in a post-16 setting and hold a recognised teaching qualification.

Working as part of a team, you will develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year. Ensuring excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College and you will be expected to make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.

As a confident communicator, you need to be an enthusiastic and committed individual who can engage, inspire and challenge all learners to achieve their individual potential. You will have good organisational and problem solving skills and will be prepared to work flexibly.

This is a superb opportunity for a first class applicant to join an established department and work in a College with an excellent reputation for A Level delivery.
