Wiltshire College & University Centre is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2018. Based across the county on 4 main campuses, the College offers an extensive range of courses at all levels and has ambitious plans for growth in a region with exciting potential.

We are seeking two Learning Technologists to join our team working across all College campuses to identify, implement and support innovative learning technologies that help deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.

Digital technologies play an increasingly integral role in all our lives, so it is essential that we empower staff and students to develop the skills and confidence needed to prepare them for their digital futures. You will provide information, advice and guidance to staff and students using a range of methods including group and one-to-one training, live online support sessions and creating bespoke eLearning content.

A practical understanding of teaching and learning practice is key to delivering this role effectively and you will hold or be willing to work toward a teaching qualification (DTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE etc.). You will be a confident and proactive user of digital technologies including VLEs, Office 365, eLearning authoring software and a range of hardware, with an expectation to maintain an up-to-date skillset in relevant and emerging technologies.

So if you are passionate about technology and enjoy supporting others, can communicate effectively and share your enthusiasm, are a creative thinker and relish a dynamic and varied workload, we would love to hear from you.

Wiltshire College & University Centre is committed to the protection of young people and vulnerable adults and to Safeguarding and Prevent and promoting the welfare of learners and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The College is accredited to the Disability Confident Employer award, part of this means a commitment to interview all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for a job vacancy and consider them on their abilities.

Employment benefits include a total of 30 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays and College closure days over the Christmas period, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, free on-site parking and a variety of in-house benefits such as gyms, coffee shop, restaurants and high-street discounts.

The closing date for this role is midday on Tuesday 28 May 2019. Interviews are scheduled to take place on Monday 10 June 2019.
