Student Services Manager (North) and Head Warden

Fixed Term Contract (to cover Maternity Leave) - 6 months minimum

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Services Manager (North) and Head Warden (Newton Rigg) to join our Student Support Department here at Newton Rigg, within spectacular grounds.  This role will be covering Maternity Leave and will be working 37 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be required to manage the pastoral care of all students at Newton Rigg College and northern centres in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, including those in residential accommodation at Newton Rigg.  The successful candidate will be required to either occupy a rent free room in a shared house on the College campus when undertaking on call duties or live within 10 miles of the campus. 

Educated to level 3 or above in a relevant subject, with Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy, Level 3 Safeguarding qualification and First Aid qualification.  You will have experience of working with young people in an education or youth work role, have knowledge of legislation relating to Care Standards and have experience and knowledge of office IT systems.  In return, you will receive a generous holiday allowance, ample free parking, canteen facilities and a range of employee benefits.
