Technicians Co-ordinator for Engineering

Nottingham College is going through some exciting changes as it emerges as one of the biggest colleges in the country. This role is a new and unique opportunity to shape services for our students, to give them the best possible experience whilst at the College. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Co-ordinator to join the Nottingham College Engineering curriculum delivery team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help us develop and grow this area of our curriculum, whilst ensuring that our learners experience outstanding learning. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery areas, equipment and stock are all maintained and available for training purposes throughout the site. You will be responsible for and manage the workshop technicians, associated area budgets and purchasing, ensuring a high level of service is provided in a very busy environment. You will teach when required to and also support lecturers in delivering courses from Entry level through to Level 3 in Machine/welding/maintenance.

You will have industry experience and be able to work efficiently and flexibly as part of a small team, to ensure growth and success in both our full time provision and apprenticeship programmes. Our aim as an ambitious team is to ensure our learners not only gain high level skills to enable them to achieve in the world of work, but also to develop and grow our offer whilst meeting challenging academy targets.
