Part Time Finance Clerk

18.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).

We are seeking a Finance Clerk to support the Finance Office with daily functions within the areas of Cash Office, Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger. The main focus of this role is to work with the Cash Office & Purchase Ledger for the College, working across all 3 sites, Solihull, Stratford and Woodlands Campus. 

The Finance Clerk will be required to take payments, pay petty cash, daily banking & reconciliation, raise journals, set up accounts, input bank details and reconcile Purchase Ledger Statements   The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation and will have used computerised accounting systems. Previous experience of working within a busy finance environment and cash handling experience are essential along with knowledge of Purchase & Sales Ledger functions.  

The hours are to be worked over Wednesday to Friday with either a 8.30am or 9.00am start, this will be discussed at interview.
