We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual with a passion for IT to work in a well-established, vibrant company offering opportunities for growth and development. The role is for a field-based apprentice technician, mainly travelling each day to one or two schools within the Northamptonshire area.
Typical tasks:
- Ticketing portal where schools post jobs and jobs are allocated
- Set tasks in a school:
- Antivirus
- Checking backups
- Server checks
- Web filtering
- Software installation
- Printers and copiers

Entry requirements:
Five GCSE’s C-A including English and Maths are desirable
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows 7/8/10)
- Knowledge of MS Office 2010 – 2016
- Some hardware, software, printing and networking troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
Personal Qualities:
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
- A full driving license and your own transport
