Loughborough College are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Women’s & Girls Football Development Officer (Apprenticeship) to join the Sport department. This role will involve assisting with tasks and initiatives to grow the number of women and girls participating in football as well as the increasing and improving the workforce and officials associated with women’s football.

The Women’s & Girls Football Apprentice will need to possess a level 1 coaching qualification complemented by having experience in coaching young people in either sport (football desirable) or any physical activity. This role will involve working with a variety of people so it is essential that the successful candidate has great relationship building skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Sport and Football in particular. The Football Development Officer will have an opportunity to really put forward ideas and initiatives which will make a vital difference and increase the number of women and girls in football.

The position will be required to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship as part of their role and in partnership with the Football Association (The FA) and English Colleges Football Association (ECFA).

The successful candidate will be required to attend national training on the dates specified by the FA.
