18.5 hours per week/ 52 weeks per year
Working within the Fashion and Textiles team you will be responsible for facilitating teaching support to enable effective delivery of the curriculum.
You will be expected to provide day-to-day co-ordination of workshop / studio resource usage and related learning activities by working with the team of staff to ensure effective support is provided to both staff and students.
You will also be required to have an up to date knowledge of Fashion and Textiles techniques, materials and processes and be able to coordinate resource usage efficiently to deliver the curriculum.
You will also be responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining resources within the fashion and textiles areas and will take an active part in the development of curriculum delivery through the annual business planning process.
We are looking for someone who has a Level 4 (or above) qualification / relevant industrial experience within a fashion and/or textiles context and strong technical skills and a current knowledge of industry developments within fashion and textiles design.
You must also have experience and knowledge of techniques and processes within a fashion and textiles production context (technical knowledge and skills) and also have experience of maintaining accurate records.
