This role give you an exciting opportunity to work as part of a small, friendly and specialist marketing team. You'll be using your technical knowledge and enthusiasm for digital marketing to work alongside our marketing team on our college websites as well as more wide-ranging marketing activities.

Utilising the College's bespoke CMS system, you will be responsible for updating the College's websites, with fresh course information and news articles. Prior experience in website management would be highly beneficial, as well as a working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, SEO and website analytics.

Using the Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), you will occasionally need to produce engaging and creative artwork to represent the College in a wide range of mediums both in print and digitally.

As well as demonstrating design flair, the successful candidate will need a good eye for detail, excellent communication skills, accurate copy writing skills and the ability to work confidently within college branding guidelines. The post also includes working with social media, so experience in this area is an advantage.

Working in a busy marketing environment will make the most of your customer service, administrative and organisational skills as well as  your effective use of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Taking part in some key recruitment and celebratory events throught the year, you will be a passionate communicator and a positive representative of the College.

Unfortunately we cannot accept CVs but look forward to receiving your application and if you have a portfolio of your previous work we would like to see that at interview. If you have any further questions about the post then please contact David Hargest, 01432 365433.
