Student Adviser (Fixed Term)

We are looking to recruit a full time Student Adviser to join our expanding Job shop and Work Experience hub team. In this role you will work closely with our Level 2 and Level 3 students who require work placements as part of their study programmes.

Your role will be instrumental in matching students to industry specific placements as well as assisting in the recruitment of employers to our ever expanding network. You will spend more than 50% of your time visiting employers with students on placement to complete reviews and health and safety checks. The provision of industry placements is a huge area of growth for the College, and as such we have ambitious targets to reach. You will play a pivotal role in the progression of students into the workplace.

The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain good working relationships with students, employers and wider college teams. They will be confident to work to KPIs and will be data numerate. It is essential for this role that the candidate can drive and has a full driving licence with business insurance on their vehicle. Due to the nature of our industries the vast majority of your day will be spent out on visits and you will be someone who thrives on organising their diary efficiently in independent working scenarios.
