Lecturer - Mechanical Engineering
Uxbridge College has excellent facilities for the delivery of our Engineering provision. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with a background in Mechanical Engineering to this full time permanent post, to teach across a range of programmes to our learners, mainly aged between 16 and 19 years old, up to Level 5 (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
You will need to possess at least a degree in a branch of Mechanical Engineering, together with teaching or training experience in the subject area. Industry experience and workshop experience are both desirable, but more important is the ability to communicate with, engage and inspire young people aged 16-19. You should either possess, or be willing to work towards, an advanced level teaching qualification, which will be supported financially in full by the College.
