Weekend day and evening shifts available.

We are looking to recruit Residential Officers to work on a flexible bank contract basis to cover weekend shifts during the day and in the evening. The role will consists of a range of day shifts 8am-4pm and evening shifts 4pm-12am.

The key responsibilities of the Residential Officer will be to supervise residential students to ensure that acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained at all times, provide help and guidance to all students and deal with any incidents which may arise. The Residential Officer will also provide pastoral support, conduct site patrols and ensure that the College premises are kept secure.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people in a social, supportive role. With the ability to manage student behaviour effectively and represent the College positively, you will also be confident in de-escalating difficult situations that may arise. You will be responsible, trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
