Excellent opportunity for at least two inspirational ESOL teachers to join our cutting edge team at Waltham Forest College on a fractional, casual basis.

You will be responsible for ESOL Teaching, Learning & Assessment. We run classes for 16-18 year olds and adults at all levels both on site and in the community; you may also have the opportunity to teach Functional Skills Maths to ESOL students. We are looking for an excellent, innovative teacher who is keen to share good practice and grow as a teacher within a supportive team. Ideally you should possess an appropriate teaching qualification and be qualified to at least level 5 in ESOL. Exceptions could be made for those willing to sign up to a level 5 course. It is essential that you enjoy working with students both 16-18 and adults. The successful candidate will demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching ESOL combined with a willingness to support and motivate students to succeed. You will need to work at least one evening. You must be committed to Equality & Diversity and safeguarding the welfare of our students. There will be frequent opportunities for you to develop your teaching skills through regular staff development and support.
