This is an exciting time for University Centre Reaseheath (UCR) as our Higher Education programmes continue to grow and develop, in conjunction with a greater sector focus on educational data analysis, particularly with respect to external quality measures. As a result, UCR are looking to appoint a Data and Quality Officer to support the Quality Enhancement Manager in preparing the University Centre's statutory and funding returns. These statutory returns form part of the external reputation of the institution and in this role, the successful candidate will identify key areas impacting this perception to ensure the institution is accurately represented and advise on enhancement plans for improvement. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of competence in IT systems and data analysis, and will deploy these skills to provide rich data analysis of trends and patterns to inform managerial decision making and operational efficiency to improve the overall student experience.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of compiling educational data returns, advanced IT and data handling skills, a degree qualification in a relevant discipline and experience of the organisation and administration of information systems.  Good team working and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in detail and ensure high level of accuracy whilst at all times ensuring deadlines are met are essential for working within this tight-knit team.

Please note these roles constitute 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidates will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
