Manager - Work Based Learning - Electrical, Plumbing, Building Services and Commercial

We are seeking to appoint a Manager to drive forward the growth and maintain the quality of our Work Based Learning provision for Electrical Installation, Plumbing and Building Services.  The role will involve building and maintaining partnerships with external bodies and employers, and working closely with the Head of School, Section Manager, Senior and cross College staff to ensure the effective planning, delivery and success of the apprenticeship programmes.  You would also work with the Commercial Manager to ensure the quality of commercial delivery within the area.  You will also teach on a range of programmes according to your specialism.

You should possess a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, have experience of teaching/assessing in the subject area and good knowledge of Work Based Learning Programmes, Construction Apprenticeship frameworks and new standards including NVQ pathways. You should also have excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with employers and the ability to drive this area forward to achieve success.  Knowledge of the recent apprenticeship reforms is desirable.
