Head of Learning Support
Uxbridge College, part of HCUC, is a highly successful Further Education College in West London with an excellent reputation for providing a wide range of support for students. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and confident manager to lead and develop the College’s Learning Support provision. Reporting to the Head of School for ESOL, Foundation Learning and Learning Support, you would ensure successful outcomes for SEND learners through the management of a team of learning support staff. You would also ensure the Code of Practice requirements are met, with particular focus on the EHCP and High Needs requirements, and assist with the additional support funding claim across the College.
You must possess a degree or equivalent, a teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE/DET or equivalent), and experience of delivering learning support in a cross-College setting and experience of SEND delivery. You should also have good leadership skills with experience of managing or supervising a team in Further Education or in a similar setting.
HCUC is an equal opportunities employer. We encourage applications from all people, irrespective of disability, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, transsexual or gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership, religion/faith or pregnancy and maternity leave.
