Full time position which will include travel to offsite locations.

Solihull College and University Centre is seeking an experienced Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to deliver the City & Guilds syllabus to large groups of mixed ability adults.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Maths and a Level 4 teaching qualification are both essential in order to deliver programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately success.

Delivery will be on Campus and also offsite at a number of locations including employers' premises and community venues so you must be prepared to travel.

You will have excellent communication, IT and number skills, with a positive 'can do' attitude and have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. You will be an excellent administrator - well organised and able to meet deadlines. The ability to communicate effectively and to 'stay in touch' at all times in particularly important due to the physical distance from Solihull. It is important that our reputation is upheld and that quality of provision is maintained. Therefore there will be a need to attend meetings at Blossomfield campus once a month.

Experience of delivering higher level GCSE Maths could be an advantage.
