Equine Instructor (Bank Staff)

Reaseheath College is one of the premier land-based College located in South Cheshire with an enviable reputation for quality and partnerships with industry.

We are always looking for adaptable individuals to join our established Instructor Team in our equestrian centre to assist in maintaining outstanding standards of Equitation and Stable Management delivery with the ethos of a classical approach to education and holistic approach to the training and welfare of the horses and riders.

We are looking to establish a Talent Bank of Equine Instructors who will be engaged on an 'as and when required' basis.

Requirements for the role are GCSE Maths & English grade C or above or equivalent or a willingness to undertake Basic Skills Level 2 Maths & English, BHS II (Intermediate instructor) or experienced BHS AI (Assistant Instructor) or equivalent experience to Intermediate instructor level, First aid at work qualification, demonstrable experience in training students up to and including BHS Stage 3 and PTT (AI). You will also have a recognised teaching qualification or demonstrate a willingness to work towards one.

Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS with barred list information prior to starting employment which you will be required to pay for.
