During the programme, individuals will develop their practical skills in the role of Trainee Manufacturing Technician and on successful completion of the training programme/apprenticeship, full-time employment may be offered in the following position:

Production/ Assembly - Manufacturing Technician

This role requires team players with proven skills, knowledge and experience of mechanical assembly, along with hydraulic and electrical installation.  The role requires operating to high quality/workmanship standards, within a manufacturing cell/flow line production environment.  You will be required to perform a range of manufacturing/production operations to the required quality standard, on time and within commercial competition cost budgets (i.e. logistics/materials handling, preparation, painting, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fitting/fabrication, service/maintenance and development).

Entry requirements

Minimum of 3 GCSE's (or equivalent):  Grade 3 (D) or above in Maths, Grade 3 (E) or above in English and Science

Candidates with a Level 2 or equivalent Engineering qualification may be considered for our Level 3 programme.
