SGS College’s English Department have an exciting opportunity for an English Lecturer.

This role will be based at our Filton Campus – A Level Centre.

We are currently seeking a full time lecturer to cover maternity leave within the Sixth Form at the Filton Campus of South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. We are looking for a teacher preferably with successful classroom experience who has genuine knowledge of, and passion for, their subject and the ability to inspire and enthuse students of all ages and backgrounds.

The person appointed will be expected to teach GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and GCSE Film Studies. Experience of the AQA specification would be an advantage.

Applicants for the above post will be joining a successful department with high achievement rates. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in teaching and demonstrate a commitment to achieving the best for each student to maintain the high standards within the department.
