Project Funded up to 31st December 2020
Responsible to the Senior Business Development Manager as Business Engagement Officer you will focus on raising awareness of Apprenticeships in small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Sector (AME). Through your successful engagement you will conduct organisational and training needs analyses which result in increased uptake of Apprenticeships, including Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. This post is funded by a partnership project with Lancaster University and other partners. You will work with colleagues to achieve the project targets.
Qualified to level 3 in a business related subject you will have recent and relevant experience of working in or with the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sector together with relevant experience of working in a training and development environment or similar Business Development role in a target driven environment.
The ideal candidate will also hold a Level 4 qualification, ideally in a Management, Engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
