The Role
As a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Engineering programmes within the Technical Centre. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered.
What we are looking for
You should possess a level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical Engineering and have or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification. Having relevant and/or professional experience in the areas of CNC programming, additive manufacturing and fabrication are an essential requirement of the role as is experience of G-code, CNC setting and machining, CAM programming and machining.
As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
