Student Relations Officer, Alternative Provision, Reduced Year

Reduced Year (39 weeks per year).

Student Relations Officer to work at The Foundry (our new Alternative Provision) in order to build positive relationships with students, take appropriate action to ensure a safe place to learn and working space. As a key aspect of the role the SRO will use de-escalation techniques and restorative approaches.

There will be an expectation of monitoring student compliance with college rules and procedures, reporting incidents and promoting a positive campus culture.

Ideally, you will be trained in or willing to train in de-escalation and Team Teach behaviour management techniques, and will have a good knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable learners. 

This will be a challenging but extremely rewarding role and we will be looking to you to be instrumental in creating a positive, welcoming and safe environment for our learners and staff as a key member of our team.
