Exams Invigilator

Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which is growing to meet opportunities in the education market. From a single FE college, we have evolved into an international group including secondary, further and higher education, apprenticeship and workforce training, consultancy and commercial business.

Activate Learning is seeking to recruit variable hours exam invigilators to assist the examination team in delivering paper based and computer based examinations at City of Oxford College (Oxpens Road). Hours will be variable with a high demand over the summer period (May and June) 

Duties will include announcing awarding body regulations to large groups of students; quiet unobtrusive patrolling of examination room to ensure candidates are obeying examination board regulations; close visual and aural observation of students; recording student attendance; collection and return of examination paperwork plus any other duties an invigilator could be expected to undertake.  Full training will be given. 

Applicants should have good communication and organisation skills, and proven ability to be punctual and reliable. Basic IT skills would be an advantage.   

Successful applicants will be contacted and asked to attend an interview on Wednesday 13th March.
