Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructor/Keeper with the ability to oversee the care and welfare of the animals to join our Animal Management Department here at Middlesbrough, within spectacular grounds. This role will be working 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day care and welfare of animals and organisation of the animal unit under the direction of the Animal Unit Lead Keeper. You will also carry out routine maintenance of the animal collection and assist with the maintenance of grounds, cages, paddocks and buildings.
Educated to level 4 or above in an animal related subject. With excellent knowledge of working with a variety of animals, dealing with a wide range of clients of different ages and backgrounds.
