History and Politics Teacher

Activate Learning Group aims to be inspirational and innovative and to foster personal development through learning.  As part of this, we are now looking to recruit an outstanding, inspirational and student-focused History and Politics teacher to deliver high quality learning and teaching on our A Level and Access Programmes.

You will already have a teaching qualification and will plan and deliver high quality, imaginative and inspirational teaching, learning and assessment to meet the needs of all our students on a range of programmes. You will have significant skills and knowledge of teaching History and Politics and have an established track record of achieving excellent results.

Through the use of challenging individual targets and learning plans, you will be required to ensure that your student achievement is maximised. You will also work collaboratively and proactively with managers and colleagues across the Activate Learning Group to design, develop, manage and review programmes in the faculty in light of stakeholder feedback. You will have the ability to motivate your students to make rapid progress in this subject area, successfully complete their qualification and see them move into higher levels of study or into relevant employment.

In return, we can offer you a range of benefits - from ongoing professional development to excellent pensions, holiday package and job satisfaction.
