We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced assessor, who specialises in the assessment of students working towards a vocational qualification within a college, training centre, or workplace.
The successful applicant will join an expanding team of assessors based within the Department of Teacher Education at Leeds City College. They will carry out the Assessment, Training and Internal Verification of candidates who are undertaking work based qualifications, including apprenticeships and QCF qualifications.
The successful applicant will participate in the development and delivery of the new Assessor Coach apprenticeship and will require a coaching qualification also.
In addition to having a proven track record of delivering a range of assessing awards in the post-compulsory vocational sector, the ideal candidate must hold - or be working towards - a Level 5 teacher training qualification and a Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice (IQA).
