Examinations Officer

Nottingham College is one of the largest further education colleges in the country creating opportunities for employment and progression to higher education for the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire; raising their prosperity and that of the local economy.

The Examinations service has responsibility for registering all learners with the relevant Awarding Body to obtain their qualifications. We arrange all written and on screen Examinations – enveloping the timetabling, rooming, Invigilation, Access Arrangements, distribution, packing and return of Exam scripts. We manage controlled assessment, coursework, and certification claims, results days, and issuing of certificates. We record all ILR outcome tracking data, and support funding/ audit.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a vacant Examinations Officer post. The main focus of this role is the timely and efficient import of learner data issued by Awarding Bodies in to our Student record system to cover all elements of the learner journey. In addition, the successful candidate will lead on the College’s coursework, and certification claims processes & recording and reporting of Exam absence, alongside supporting broader Exams Officer responsibilities.
