We are a student focused, hard-working, dedicated team looking for the right person to join us as a Learning Mentor. We are keen to develop and enhance the high quality student support services available to our Higher Education students.

As a Learning Mentor you will provide highly specialised, specifically tailored, one to one and group support which helps our Higher Education students address and overcome their individual barriers to learning. Reporting to the Student Success Advisor but working closely with Course Teams and Personal Tutors, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of a bespoke programme of interventions supporting a caseload of students across a range of programmes.

You will also be responsible for supporting a small team of peer mentors, and will work with the Course Teams and Personal Tutors to support the progress of students, working in line with University College APP targets.

The ideal candidate would have worked or be working in a similar role in another Higher Education Institution, and also have substantial admin experience, influencing skills and a high level of computer literacy. Additionally, it would also be advantageous to have knowledge of Mathematical and Statistical analysis.
