Receptionist / Assessor (Maternity Cover)

19 hours per week, term time only.

SGS College has a highly successful and expanding Hairdressing, Beauty and Make up artistry Department delivery a range of pre 16 years, FE and HE provision.

We require a highly flexible, motivated individual to undertake reception and stock control duties alongside assessment of learners at Level 2 Beauty in the salon environment.

The successful candidate will have experience of customer service and vocational assessment, a learner centric approach, a tangible passion for the subject area and being an effective team player is extremely desirable. The role will also include some technician responsibility, which requires a proactive, highly communicative and organised approach with all appropriate college services.

You will be responsible for supporting and driving the success of learners on their Study Programme.

You will have a passion for developing learners’ skills and will support and inspire them in achieving their Long-Term Goals. You possess the ability to manage your own workload, show initiative, gain support and guidance when required, embrace a collaborative team approach and be an advocate of learning and growth.

Expected Interview Date: 4^th March 2019.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
