1st/2nd Line IT Technician

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st/2nd Line IT Technician to join our IT Department here at York, within spectacular grounds. This is a permanent, full time role working 37 hours per week.

In this role you will provide technical hardware and software support for staff and students on a Microsoft Windows based network infrastructure. You will also support the effective use and maximise potential of IT in curriculum delivery, student centred learning, administrative and business functions of the College.

With a diploma in IT (Systems Support) or equivalent, you should have knowledge of a range of IT hardware and experience supporting a Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2, 2012 and 2016 environment. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively to strict deadlines.
