An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the growth of the Bridge Programme at the College. The College is seeking a qualified, committed and highly motivated individual to deliver a range of units on the Level 1 Bridge programme, which supports those learners who are high risk of becoming NEET.

The successful candidate will possess excellent classroom management skills coupled with the tenacity, commitment and patience to deal with Learners with challenging behaviour.

You will develop and employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies, including the effective use of ILT, to ensure excellence and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.

As a clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate students and to create a positive learning environment and support a learner’s potential. You will also be required to undertake a personal tutor role.

You will be qualified to degree level with solid experience of working in a relevant role and be qualified to teach levels 1-5. You will possess/or be prepared to work towards a recognised teaching qualification and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of a variety of different age groups.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
