We are looking for an outstanding and motivated teacher to join our Work Related team, and have opportunities to teach Functional Skills maths and English from Entry 1 up to Level 2 to our 14-16 learners on Work Related Learning programmes. You will be a qualified lecturer who is able to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in maths and English to learners of all abilities. You will be required to contribute to the planning, delivery, assessment, evaluation and design of the courses. You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and with excellent communication skills.
Successful candidates will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in English and maths e.g. A Level (or equivalent qualification) and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards).
You will have previous experience of teaching English and maths up to Level 2 as a minimum. Successful candidates will also be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching Functional skills, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.

The post is for 15 hours per week, over 2 days (Monday and Friday). However a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
Coventry College has two campuses (Henley Campus, Bell Green, City Campus, City Centre), you must therefore be able to travel between sites.
