We are seeking to appoint a vocationally competent chainsaw operator from within the forestry industry to join our team of instructors in delivering a range of legislative short courses. It is essential that applicants hold the relevant NPTC qualifications up to, and including, using a chainsaw from a rope and harness. NPTC or Lantra registered assessor status is advantageous. Experience of working within the industry is vital along with a detailed understanding of health and safety involving chainsaw operations and people. This role involves preparing candidates for assessment within a set timescale so the successful applicant will need to be efficient and motivated in supporting others to succeed.
