The Faculty of Science, Health and Care at Nottingham College offers students the opportunity to study a range of courses. We are looking for a Biology lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. We are looking for a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will need to have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students.
Applicants should have recent experience of teaching Biology, either in their current post or as part of their PGCE. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources.
Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector, and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
We are looking for teacher across all areas, including our Health and Social Care faculty area, our Access and HE provision and our Science faculty area.
Please be aware that the College is currently undertaking job evaluation on all roles and implementing a new pay and grading system and new contractual documentation. Applicants should be aware that the advertised salary for this role represents the salary at the point of advertising but that this may change under the new pay and grading system.
