We are looking to enhance our team of Counselling lecturers who teach on our highly successful and popular Counselling Foundation Degrees and BA with Honours programmes in the School of Health, Science and Technology. Our excellent quality Counselling provision attracts a high volume of students and our team are proud to have received over 90 per cent in overall satisfaction scores from students in the National Student Survey for the last two years.

This is an exciting and dynamic time for Counselling as a whole and at the University Centre at Blackburn College we are reflecting this by enhancing our Counselling provision to ensure the currency and relevance of our course to meet the challenges of today’s job market.

You will play a key role in the teaching team on the Counselling programmes and more widely across the School of Health, Science and Technology. With an Honours degree and Masters degree in a relevant discipline and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accreditation or equivalent practice experience, you will demonstrate a clear and comprehensive understanding of contemporary developments within the Counselling sector.
