HCUC is a merger between Uxbridge College and Harrow College, in West London. We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our busy Finance Team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely payment of College employees (currently around 700 permanent and 100 casual) and for the auto enrolment of new staff to the Teachers Pension Scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme. You will also deal with pay and pension queries from employees across the College, and will be the systems administrator for the College’s iTrent system.
You should possess adequate payroll experience and will have been responsible for a payroll of around 500+ employees, in a corporate or education environment. Experience of working with computerised payroll systems, including Midland Itrent, is essential. You will be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly and prioritise your workload effectively.
