Lecturer – Counselling Level 1

SGS College has a highly successful Counselling Programme Area at our Filton and Stroud campuses and we are looking to recruit a counselling lecturer to join the team.
We are looking for a dedicated person with well-developed practical and teaching skills who will be responsible for Delivery of the Level 1 qualification in Counselling. Duties will include organisation and teaching on the course, assessment, preparation and skills feedback.
The successful person will be required to have client work and/or teaching experience. They will also possess a Diploma in Counselling, knowledge of counselling approaches, particularly humanistic and specifically Person centered is required.
The teaching will take place over 1 day for 10 weeks 3 hours teaching with additional preparation and administration.
Expected Interview Date: W/c 7th January 2018.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
