With exceptional facilities, students are able to utilise our extensive range of resources, which include surveying equipment, computer-aided design software and a variety of online resources to support practical and theory work, along with a provision of support on technical drawing and draughting skills.
If you are educated to Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery, are prepared to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education), hold a minimum of grade C or equivalent in GCSE English & Maths, and have a commitment to, and evidence of, CPD, we would love to hear from you!
Duties will include the teaching and training of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the college, tutoring and management of one or more course groups along with development of brickwork courses and assessment of student work. Further requirements of this role will be to participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service.
You will have experience dealing with a diverse mix of students and have the ability to adapt your style accordingly.
