We are looking to appoint an adaptable lecturer who is keen to work within an ever-evolving, innovative LDD department. The job will involve teaching various qualifications, including English and mathematics, to a variety of LDD learners. There will be the opportunity to deliver in various vocational contexts so experience of this would be useful, e.g. construction, sport, creative arts/media, music. Candidates with a construction background would be desirable but not essential. It is essential that you have a sound knowledge of this area of work and experience of teaching learners with SEND.
A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.
