The Finance Team are responsible for the financial management of an annual budget in excess of £76million, providing accurate and timely data to inform business decisions. The successful candidate will be based at our Hackney campus close to Hoxton station, but is required to travel across campuses. The team has recently restructured to build a strong responsive team to meet the challenges of the complex and ever changing environment that the college’s operates in.

The post is a member of the College’s management team and reports directly to the Group Director of Finance.  

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant, with proven post-qualification experience and excellent communication skills. A proven track record in successful staff management is also essential.

You will have overall responsibility for the delivery of monthly management accounts for the New City College Group, including the production of monthly and annual cashflow analysis. The role requires you to lead on the collation of the financial information for the annual planning process and to manage the uploading and maintenance of annual budgets into the accounting systems, ensuring that the delegation limits set align with the agreed delegation thresholds.

It is essential that candidates have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
