Lecturer – Counselling

Part Time Fixed term until 06/06/2019

17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

Salary: £32,769 - £38,536 pro rata, per annum

Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

As Lecturer in Counselling. You will deliver teaching in counselling from potentially COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills and Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have strong industry experience.   Previous teaching experience is essential and a teaching qualification (TQFE) or similar would be advantageous.

It is necessary that your primary expertise is in Counselling with a preference for Person Centred Counselling.

You must have clear and confident communication skills, the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team.  You must have good planning and organisational skills, initiative and self-motivation.

Interview will take place on 10/01/2019
