Apprentice IT Service Desk Technician

Summary of Responsibilities:    

To ensure the effective and efficient provision of IT Services and to assist with providing an outstanding level of customer service.

Principal Duties

  1. To provide first and second-line IT support.
  2. To participate in the workflow of multiple IT teams.
  3. To undertake any other agreed or associated duties to support the administration work in IT as requested by the Head of IT.
  4. Although primarily based at the Bispham Campus you may be required to undertake these duties in any of the college's administration offices across campuses.
  5. To work flexible hours when required and on some occasions at late notice and undertake early morning and evening duties at time of peak workload.
  6. Developing teamwork and participating in team meetings.
  7. Participating in staff development activities.
  8. To work towards and contribute to the corporate aims of the college.
