Reaseheath College's Veterinary Nursing provision within Animal Management has grown in success and size over the last six years, new & exciting developments have not only resulted in an increase in learner numbers but also have attracted more veterinary care providers to our 50-strong portfolio of practices. We are currently looking to fill a vacancy within the management team in the role of "Vet Nursing Head of Centre" (Programme Leader equivalent) to manage the team of Vet nursing staff and the continued growth and development in the curriculum area of Veterinary nursing.
We are looking for an exceptional, well organised individual to lead the team, the successful candidate will be expected to line manage, and oversee curriculum delivery & quality of the programme delivery taking place in the college, and that taking place within the growing number of associated veterinary training practices that we work with.
The ideal candidate should hold a minimum level 3 qualification in veterinary nursing, ability to maintain professional registration in the RCVS, an assessors award (A1) and internal verifiers award or equivalent (or willingness to achieve). Good team working and communication skills are key attributes within this dynamic team.
Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
